FAQs

  • To ensure that my clients receive the best possible care, I accept no more than 4 birth clients per calendar month.

  • Definitely not! I love how my client Chelsea put it:

“When I first presented the idea of a Doula to my husband I was nervous. I didn’t want him to think that I didn’t think he could handle supporting me through childbirth alone. When we discussed it, he was still not fully convinced as to why we needed her help.

“After the labor I asked my husband if he thought it was helpful having a Doula and if his perspective changed. From my husband to yours… ‘I don’t know what I would have done without her.’

“Looking back, a Doula is just as much for the father as they are for the mother. It is absolutely worth investing in the experience of a Doula. We are so happy with our overall birthing journey largely because of Christina. The rawness of childbirth was easy for us to share with her and we feel forever bonded with Christina!”

  • After a two-hour minimum for postpartum care or one-hour minimum for lactation support, I bill on the quarter hour. For example, if I was in your home for Postpartum work from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm, I would bill for 1.75 hours vs. rounding up to 2 hours.
